Here are some glamour shots from when we were snapped at work on the Circus Oz Living Archive in the Design Hub by the famous architectural photographer John Gollings. The star of the shots is the new FABPOD designed by Nick Williams, John Cherrey and team from RMIT.
On Thursday we ran a small internal workshop to develop some personas and build some scenarios – to help us identify further areas of research for prototypes. Look at the groups on the whiteboard – who have we missed? What do you see?
A bit of trumpet blowing on behalf of the project’s APAI candidate Reuben Stanton. He has submitted (on time) his exegesis, ‘Acts of Design’ about his research with the Living Archive project. Live streaming I think might let you jump to any point in a video stream without having to buffer all the data that is before that point, and it might resend some lost packets so you get more control over the integrity of the video (ie most of the data will arrive).
