Research Outcomes

This page collates the research outcomes for the Circus Oz Living Archive project.  The project intends to deliver a variety of research outcomes, including conference papers, published work, a social video archive, and two PhDs.

Australian circus artists and researchers and international scholars presented recent projects and research approaches: Circus Oz: Living Archive; creative processes; philosophising about the circus body; rethinking circus history. Featured speaker from Finland, Tomi Purovaara, presented on Cirko, a circus centre that brings together information centre, studio training facilities, festival venue, and research resources with visual archive library.  Other presentations included Stine Degerbøl (Denmark), Skype presentations from Sweden and Croatia, as well as presentations by leading Australian artists and academics.
