Equipment – 2 SAMMA digitising machines arrived and were placed in the music room where they will stay for the duration – 2 cleaning machines arrived and will be placed in the archive room where they will stay for the duration -2 VHS machines were brought from RMIT and placed into the SAMMA -1 Umatic machine was brought from RMIT and placed into the SAMMA – 1 small vacuum cleaner was purchased by Kim – most of the consumables needed by Kim have been purchased – SAMMA needs to be customized: 1. metadata fields changed 2. … David Carlin will talk to Jamie Thom, Adrian miles and DAMSmart about this work which will take place this week. – the only major item still to be purchased is the transport discs for carrying the data to and from RMIT – there may be issues with heat in the music room.
